Sociocracy with Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
Fundamentally sociocracy is a consent desision making process for any group of people having a common vision. It has core principle of equivelence, transparency and effectiveness.
In sociocracy nobody leads anyone without their consent, or more specifically the absence of their objection. Objections are considered gifts as they contain wisdom useful to amend or negate the proposed aim or need. Objections are deliberately sought as part of the process of inclusion of all participants, who are thus seen for the views that they hold. Its effectiveness lies in the efficiency in which divergent ideas are gathered and held, rather than allowed to be discussed.
Having participated in 2 workshops with James Priest and a workshop with John Butler, the founder of the sociocracy movement, Rik is qualified to lead introductory workshops in sociocracy and follow them up. James Priest is part of the team creating Sociocracy 3.0, in which sociocracy has been developed to hold many of the concepts of NVC.
